Likaanen lakeus
From the heart of Ähtäri began a journey measured not just in kilometers, but in memories. Likaanen Lakeus is Finland’s grittiest gravel adventure, where the goal isn’t to win, but to make memories. 470 kilometers of gravel roads, rolling fields, steep climbs, old steps and pit stops in charming rural yards — and above all, a test of spirit.
This is a call to raw beauty, shared roads, and living fully in the moment. An event that wears you out — and lights you up. And leaves a mark that lingers long after the dust has settled.
For Likaanen Lakeus 2025, I had the privilege of shaping how the event was captured and shared with the world:
Event photography — capturing the grit, energy, and atmosphere throughout the from start to finish line.
Video filming — recording key moments that told the story of the riders and the journey from multiple angles on the ground and from the air.
Live social media management — bringing the event to life in real time through engaging content and interacting with the audience.
Post-event editing and distribution — editing the official photos and delivering them to participants, partners, and the event organizers.
Through this, my role was not only to document the experience, but also to ensure that its story reached beyond the roads of Ähtäri — into the memories of everyone who took part.
